La vida de Annie

Tienda interesante.

The titilating underwear shop in Mahon has transformed into its Spring display. In other good(?) news, today Spain has dropped all legal requirements to wear masks, except in medical settings and nursing homes. I assume this is to appeal to the much-needed tourist industry, as a new and more transmissible variant of Omicron is popping up. The trip to town was primarily for an apointment at the bank, which is currently doing offers on solar panels (electricity bills have gone through the roof here), and to a shop to get new watch batteries fitted. The bank staff and the shop owner were all still masked, as were those in a supermarket visited on the way home. Customers are advised to continue with masks, and all but a handful are doing so. People are so used to it here, and feel safer that way. Ironically I saw no less than 3 people in town wearing mesh masks on the day when actually effective facecoverings was dropped as a legal requirement! Maybe they're afraid of inhaling a mosquito. I thought OH would be raging about people abandoning their masks amid joyful arm waving about "freedom day!", but this never happenned except for a few entitled Brits who felt that freedom was announced months ago by a serial own-rule-breaking, despicable, lying, dissolute and amoral so-called leader. I'm not biased at all. Instead, OH was unusually cheerful, saying that it's now much easier to spot and avoid the absolute uncaring c**ts.
Can anyone spot the blue dog's face male thong in the shop window? Very long snout....
