Long journey

Up at 2.30am to walk the dogs before we left for our flight. Husbands brother stayed the night and was up early to doggy sit and then put them on the van while we were getting our first flight from Aberdeen to London Heathrow. The dogs began their trip by being driven down to London kennels in the van. Thankfully our 6 cases all weighed in correctly. It was a busy flight since they had cancelled all the other morning ones. We had to wait while they de-ice the plane then on to London. 

Once in Heathrow it was a very very long day waiting for our flight to vancouver which didn't leave until 5.15pm. We arrived in London by 9am! At 4pm we heard the dogs were safe and well at the kennels and as we were sitting about ready to taxi in our flight we heard they had had their vet checks and paperwork done ready for their flight tomorrow. Long flight followed by getting our baggage and then getting our work visas which was all straight forward but took a good few hours. Then to our hotel room and wash have some more food and collapse. That was a long 24hours travelling.

Now anxiously awaiting our doggies arriving tomorrow evening!
