Canal Day 6 - Cormorant

I'm used to seeing cormorants sunning themselves on rocks in the lake, or even on boat rooves in marinas but this is the first time I've seen one trying to spread its wings in a tree.

Just a quiet day on the canal today. At midday, we turned onto the Middlewich Branch of the Shropshire Union canal.

I cooked tartiflette for tea which always goes down well.
