Home from home

I walk first thing along the shore to the windmill. Several dog walkers, all cheery, Lottie was off her lead and racy round with them, having a great time.

In the seawater pool, two women were bravely swimming lengths! The pool had been in a poor state for years, but during lockdown some volunteers had renovated it. I shall wait for warmer weather!

In the morning Mike and I went to Crail and had a walk round the harbour to check on the boats. The Hunter Liberty that was there last time we visited, has gone, but never mind! 

Then to the farm shop at Ardross and as luck would have it, there was a craft fair there too!  We bought some lovely food and other things!

Being Easter Sunday S's son came home for the day and her cousin, whom I have met several times, came for lunch too. A very excellent venison casserole, with dumplings and roast potatoes! It really was delicious!  

A lovely, happy day, very enjoyable company and food and it was a really great way to spend my birthday too!
