Road to Elsdon

First day I’ve tested negative so David drove us to Otterburn for lunch. We stopped in Elsdon on the way for a drink at Bird in the Bush PH which has been renovated by new owners and just reopened.
As you can see, the sun was shining and we both had our windows open in the car - so it must’ve been warm! Lots to photograph on the drive to Otterburn - beautiful countryside, winding road and hump back bridges. We saw many trees still uprooted by Arwen last year.
On the way back we stopped in Rothbury for a couple of drinks and I took over behind the wheel as David, by now, was well over the legal limit to drive.
All in all it was a lovely day out and the reason for moving to this beautiful part of the world.
