Work life balance ?

I swore off growing cucumbers last years after growing too many the previous year and not having the heart to throw the excess plants away. If you have ever grown cucumbers you’ll know they grow fast and can be super rewarding and more productive that tomatoes even, but they take an awful lot of watering. Last time I grew them I was struggling to balance work, life and cucumbers!

This year I’m trying to stick to a small number of plants and my seedlings are doing well and starting to show their adolescent spikes leaves! My tomatoes and Basil are coming on well as are my red squashes. Only thing floundering is my ‘Purple Rain’ broccoli. The seedlings look thin, limp , weak and thoroughly unmotivated.
