The Glebe Estate

The houses are built on land granted to the Anglican Church in the mid-nineteenth century, and eventually preserved as public housing.

If we had international visitors I’d like to take them to inner city areas like this, spread my arms and say: “And this is our public housing”. Unfortunately, increasingly they’re sold off, purportedly so more public housing can be built further out. And we do have ugly tower blocks.

I was in Glebe for my second booster combined with fluvax. So far, so good.

Have a great weekend everyone!
