Dame Judi

I was in Stratford for a hair appointment this morning, leafing through the local paper while I waited. I discovered that as part of the Shakespeare’s birthday celebrations taking place this weekend, there was to be an unveiling by Dame Judi Dench and Sir Kenneth Brannagh, of the newly restored statue of Shakespeare given by David Garrick at the Town Hall at 1 pm. 
I got there in plenty of time and was able to watch it all.
Could have been a very expensive blip if I had gone over my parking time but luckily they were running to schedule.
