Three heads are better than one!

Walking along by the river in Pollok Park I spotted a fire engine sitting as close to the river as it could get. My immediate thought was a dog stuck in the river or a child stuck up the tree.

My curiosity got the better of me so I asked the firemen what they were doing …… a training exercise with fire hoses, involving taking water from the river and then putting it back. It was even more interesting when the second fire engine arrived and another group of firemen piled out to join the first group.

It was lovely sunny morning, if a little windy.
