Friday: Apple Blossom, Lilac Blossom ...

... and the coastguard helicopter! Apple Blossom is “James Grieve” which might be early this year, plenty of bees around!
Late this afternoon I was taking photos of the trees in flower and I could hear the helicopter over the beach, this lasted for about half an hour but no information available, hope everyone was ok.
Day started grey and chilly, MrD back on deliveries after 2 weeks holiday.
My gardening jobs were collecting old plant pots which probably had plants growing in them last year but today there was only compost! Emptied the pots, sieved the compost for reuse. 
Found a dozen nice healthy plants of assorted Cranesbill - some might be these little blue ones https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2718566135820714347 - they've all repotted in larger pots with fresh compost, they really are so pretty!
The mixed salad seeds I started off on Tuesday had already germinated by this morning, with lots of tiny leaves appearing by this afternoon :-))
