on it's way out

but doing so since many days. These tulips brought joy for a very long time.
I have been trying to get as much done as possible in house and yard, before being absent in the most beautiful month of the year. All flowers that come up now are greeted like old friends. As everything in this yard has been planted by me, my relationship with the plants is maybe too close. But also Northern Germany will be gorgeous in May, huge blooming chestnut trees and "Rapsfields" (Raps is some kind of oil seed) will be expected. We have been enjoying the nice weather, finally!
