Took me ages to weed the mint bed this afternoon. It’s quite big and there was lots of ground elder intermingled with the new mint shoots. Half the bed is spearmint and the other half apple mint. I’ve also got a big tub of chocolate mint - this is wonderful as it smells like After Eight mints.
