Happy birthday

I took this picture of my grandpa's RAF buttons today (which would have been his birthday!) He told me that they used to polish up the brass buttons, so that's what I did today. The Red Cross button was my granny's. I think they are made of Bakelite.
Also in there, is a wee American flag pin- thinking and praying for Boston and all the people affected.
