Mike has booked the rest of the week off work so we decided to have a family day out. Didn't want anything take active as still tired from the weekend so we decided to go to Rufford Abbey. Website said they had archery and other woodland games. No need to book. Open every day in school holidays. Drove 1 HR to get there and everything shut! Apparently Notts went back to school on Tuesday. Cue much moaning from kids as the only other thing to do there was mini golf which we had to queue up for for ages. We did have a bit of a walk round the lake and a nice ice cream but we're all a bit grumpy as feels like we wasted the day.
