Getting there

Done lots of the heron embroidery while I've been at mum's. Got a little bit of cross stitch still to do and then some back stitch detailing. Outlining is my least favourite part but it always brings an embroidery to life. The illustration is from Reader's Digest Book of British Birds which I loved when I was growing up, and still do.

My brother got back from holiday at lunchtime, he'd had a lovely time, so Norm and I headed off home before rush hour. Arrived back to 2 lovely cards from 2 lovely blippers - thanks Eunice and Helena xx
