Goldfinch

This is one of my two regular visitors. Both Goldfinches are very watchful and if they sense my appearance in the kitchen they are off in a flash.
I draw a line against crawling in to the kitchen on my hands and knees in the hope of getting a photo but today I was already standing at the kitchen window when the birds arrived.

A bit late in the day but at last the sun is shining.
