Fancy dress party

The boys have been to a super swanky fancy dress party at the Mansion House, guests of the Lord Mayor of London. Lucky boys.  The husband took them, as I was away, this meant public transport and a lot of walking to and from bus stops.  An exhausting but wonderful day. 

Today I'm grateful for: 
The husband making sure he could get the boys to the fancy dress party, which needed a lot of planning and effort
A great day for the gang of boys in the family! 
The eldest walking back from the bus stop (a mile), in socks, because he had such bad blisters from new boots that it was more comfortable for him (he's my hero of the moment).
