Patterns

Today's walk was a little flatter & smoother than yesterday's - along the estuary (the Mawddach Trail, traffic-free path on bed of old railway line), across the timber-framed Barmouth Bridge, (still being renovated by Network Rail but at least it's open to pedestrians/cyclists now, it was shut last time we were here, though the trains were still running across it), & into Barmouth itself. Strange town, very tall buildings trying to get a better sea view than their neighbours, & houses built In little pockets all the way up the hills behind - though the hills seemed to be bare rock faces in places!

I did take some shots of the bridge, but chose a couple I took of the estuary at low tide earlier, on the way down. The colours, patterns & reflections along the estuary are everchanging, depending on the weather & tides, & that's the main attraction here.
