Robin

It rained all morning, but cleared up enough this afternoon to allow me to venture outside for a bit. There were quite a few birds in the yard searching for earthworms after the rain, and this American Robin (Turdus migratorius) landed near me at the perfect moment to become today’s blip subject.

My nephew’s high school robotics team attended the National Robotics Championship in Houston, Texas over the weekend. His team’s robot finished 41 out of the 76 teams in their division. They were eliminated during the quarterfinals, and did not win the competition. My nephew had a wonderful time working with his robotics team, and I am proud of their accomplishments.
