Autumn leaves

As the day draws to an end and darkness closes in, fires are lit sending drifts of smoke through the air, lights are flicked on before curtains are drawn capturing the autumn leaves on this cold rainy night.

The much needed rain has finally arrived, its been consistent with just a gentle breeze. While out and about today people were smiling and talking about the rain, it will certainly help our drought stricken country.

A busy day out then home to prepare a new casserole of chicken, onions, dates, lemon, garlic, pinenuts, cumin served with couscous and greens - delish!
