Hmmmm

Painted this today but it doesn’t please me. I’m going to have to experiment with petals! I’m not good at straight-from-life objects so have to find my own sort of abstract style.

I’ve got plenty of watercolour paper at the moment and have ordered some cards too, so my nearest and dearest will be receiving my experimental daubs in the weeks ahead!

It’s been a lovely day and I’m sitting at the dining room table with the French doors open and the light flooding in. The birds are singing their wee hearts out so I’m in a wonderful environment while I paint.

I wonder if I can persuade the AM to a G&T in the sun on a weekday? Hmmmm
