Deciding & doing

There were 5 birds sitting on a fence and 3 decided to fly away. How many were left?

Most people in my classes would say 2 but they'd be wrong. Deciding to do is not the same as doing . . . . . .

How many times have we all decided to do something . . . . . then not done it?

I've decided not to procrastinate with my marking. I marked 8 papers after work and I was surprised to find it was relativley painless. Just another 22 to go.

Do or Don't - that's all that counts in the end.
