Syrphus Torvus

I think this is a Syrphus Torvus hoverfly.

The Grange Photographic Society AGM last night was very disappointing as only five of us turned up despite all the reminders, emails and articles in Grange Now.  All five of us were existing committee members so, with not a single other club member bothering to attend, the future looks bleak for the club.
