Mandolin Wind Blows Again

The mandolin I blipped in February was being used today.

When I go home as I looked at this I wondered what songs have used the mandolin. The obvious one is Maggie May, but there is also REM's Losing My Religion and I am sure many more. Then one of those moments when things seem to come together and this came on my iPod.

I was introduced to Rory Gallagher's music by a guy trying to teach to play the guitar (I never did learn). He was an amazing musician and I was fortunate to see him at the Hammersmith Odeon; his set over ran and that meant a missed train and a long walk home but boy was it worth it.

My four legged friend from yesterday made the spotlight so thanks to all.
