Madrid

Here we are in Madrid. Retiro Park which is a revisit as was here in February 2020 with Ben and had a fabulous time. Just before the world went crazy!

We had such an easy time at the airport - sailed through security as for the first time we bought fast track!! And also with the seats we purchased with easyjet we had speedy boarding ! First time for that too. Someone fainted on the flight over but they were ok. Everyone seemed to obey the mask rule, there were lots of Spanish on the flight and they haven’t got the same attitude as some shitty entitled Brits do.

No large queues at passport control thankfully not like Lisbon which was horrendous both times there since brexshit came into force.

A bus into the city just outside the door for 5 euros and then a five min walk to the hotel.

Walk round Retiro park after our food and then crash out early as v tired!
