Altinkum beach

This week's afternoon visit to the dental surgeon in Didim didn't take long so I went to Altinkum beach to stroll along the boardwalk before taking the bus home. A couple of lengths in the still cold but not unbearably so pool, and conversation with neighbours rounded off the day before a quiet evening home alone.

Temperatures on the beach somewhere around 25ºC - waiting for the bus was borderline uncomfortable in the sun - but this super weather must be welcomed as just in time for the holiday weekend to celebrate the end of Ramadan for all those who observe this practice.
