........... still quite a few insects about despite it being a tad on the chilly side.
I think the flowers that it’s on are Wallflowers - we bought them as annuals and planted them in pots and we rarely remove old plants from pots until we’ve bought new annuals the following year. We were really surprised to see them spring into life again the next year, so we planted them in the garden........... that was about six years ago and they’ve flowered beautifully every year since then. Each plant has increased in size at least fourfold and the insects seem to like them - a real bargain at 3 for £5 ;-))
