Bone cement

A few hip replacements today in the theatre I'm in.
The ones I have seen prior to today were cementless, but today's surgeon likes a bit of the green stuff.
Once there was enough in the patient the scrub nurse gave me a blob to see what it felt like and how long it takes to harden.
The cement comes out like play doh and starts to get really hot after about 5 mins and gets hotter and hotter as it begins to set and starts to cool down after a couple of minutes of being unbearable to touch!

If I had known I could keep it I would have made a more interesting shape!!
