Say cheese

It’s been a balmy spring day. I picked lemons to make marmalade as they’re now dripping off the trees and going to waste. I bought some locally produced goat cheese which is mild in flavour and deliciously creamy. There are still herds of goats in our area, many with bells sounding out across the fields and hills as they are moved about to graze. There is an EU subsidised cheese factory nearby which is the pride of the local goat milk producers. Without it there would be little future for them as small scale goat herders.
