Rue Anemone

Spring has returned to Whitesburg Preserve.  I was sad to see the male mallard all alone for the first time.  He and his gal have been together there for years. 

Extras:
1) I love this place (all of it, not just this scene)
2) My first yellow-rumped warbler.  I knew it was something I hadn't seen before but couldn't see or blip well enough to get a clear view.  This is what it really looks like.  Bird migrations are now in full swing every night!
