Launch platform, remains

This was used on the fourth and fifth missions, it is thought. Almost all of the more interesting structures were removed after the government 'rescue' of the programme – often referred to by survivors of those events as 'the English invasion'. Only the larger concrete structures, too heavy easily to remove, remain.

Curiously, there seemed to have been significantly more recent activity on the site. I can only speculate as to what this was – or, perhaps, is – although there were curious blue-and-yellow markings on what seemed to be, improbable as that may seem, repairs.

I do not dare voice my suspicions aloud. If they are true I would not want to be living in a certain former superpower.
