Cambridgeshire...

It's been a lovely day, bright warm sunshine pretty much all day.

We went along to the 'pop-up' cafe at St Mary's Shudy Camps... plenty of cakes and savouries to be had there and a chance to chat with friends over a coffee. (extra)

The view above is taken from the corner of one of Michael and Chris' fields... This spring the oaks have come into leaf before the ash trees. A sign of a dryer sumer.

Oak before ash, we'll have a splash... Ash before oak, we'll get a soak.


Perhaps not good news for farmers, they badly need some rain now.
