Early rise today

It’s all a bit of a blur now but I think today was the last opportunity for a sunrise image. Colours look a tad off now I’ve uploaded but they can stay off and will call it artistic license.

Many lessons to learn as a photographer. One I’ve recently embraced is to check if the tripod plate is still on the bottom of the camera when you know you are going to lug camera and tripod around.  Oh well. Higher ISO than intended and no long exposures to smooth the water.

There is an upside to being tripod free, I took a lot more compositions than I normally would.
 
Even though I have others from today. This composition had to win through though.
