Swanning around

This swan is nesting by the canal on our school run. They tend to either nest here or in one of 2 other places. Seemingly swans mate for life as I'm pretty sure it's the same pair.

The mate swan (is it the makes who sit on the eggs) is enjoying life picking on any ducks that dare to get too close. They give a good hiss too!
