North Fife Studios Day 2

Monday holiday and another day to visit some studios. We had worked through a list of places to visit. After a fine breakfast, we eventually headed out on the first of several studios.

Pat had made a fine picnic lunch. What could change our plans? The weather. It was cool. It was damp. The forecast was for more of the same.

The grey clouds became thicker and lower. Our first stop was in Auchtermuchty. We visited Andrea McMillan, a very talented quilting artist and spent some time discussing the finer points of quilting.

We then headed off to Dunshalt and stopped at Jenni Gudgeon’s studio. Quite remarkable, photo engraving work centred on many mythical lands of unusual creatures.

We purchased some of her books for CB who will be 12 next birthday.

The weather showed no sign of improving. It was becoming worse. We both decided to call it a day and head for home to enjoy Pat’s picnic at home.
