Disassembled gantry

A mostly-complete set of girders from the gantries used on the later missions. These seems to be undisturbed although it is hard to be sure. Whether they are yet usable I do not know.

Again there is motion: always just out of direct sight, but always there. Scuttlings and dashes from behind cover. And the eerie screaming cries: like swifts but ... not swifts. What are they? No human could live here, surely? What do they want? Are they trying to observe me? to warn me off? to hunt me?

For tomorrow's excursion I will go armed.
