Green Fly

Love the colour of these. They are attracted to decomposing meat and faeces apparently. I think this yellow euphorbia has a most strange off smell so maybe that’s why it likes it, and no doubt it’s a good pollinator  for the plant.
I’ve been gardening today. Not many insects around apart from this and a couple of ladybirds. It’s warming up soon I believe so that should bring out a few bugs.
