Naples Street Food Art

Ok. We had a FULL day at the fantastic National Archeological Museum….we were the first ones in the museum at opening and perhaps not the last to leave, but we did not leave until we saw EVERYTHING! We hobbled out about 4 pm, having spent 7 hours up close and personal with specimans discovered at the archeological sites in Italy - Pompeii Herculaneum Rome and much more. Not just mosaics and frescoes, but statues, pottery, coins, instruments, glassware, tools….mind boggling. I took over 200 photos - .the Farnese Bull, Hercules, Erotica from the ‘secret room’..it is just too much and I couldn’t pick just one. Instead, I’m opting for a bit of contemporary food art that we happened upon on our walk back home…A pizzeria in the Spanish Quarter, has an artistic chef that creates creatures from extra dough…I thought the duck/peacock dough bird was cute.
