Wide Wednesday - People

Well, one person: my good friend Anne, who very kindly invited me, along with pal Christina, for coffee and birthday cake, complete with candle and a rendering of 'Happy birthday'.

Anne has made the decision to sell her house and move into Glasgow to be nearer to her family, so this may well have been my last visit to the home where I have spent so many happy times with her and husband Drum, who died last July.

More cake and lovely gifts this afternoon when Lulabel came out to visit, but not until we'd had a good walk up in the forest with Minty. We were lucky to get away with just a few spots of rain despite the threatening sky.
