Yellow-breasted Chat

A yellow-breasted chat - not an easy bird to lure out of the shrubbery - so we were very happy when it popped briefly into the open for a photo op! Chats used to be considered among the wood warblers, but now apparently they are no longer considered warblers. They are... chats? All by themselves in a category?

Having a lovely time thus far! Hoping that threats of rain later in the week will prove to be unfounded.
