The Angry Hummingbird

Yesterday, I showed you a picture of one of our lady hummingbirds. Today, I get to show you one of the males. What you see here is a territorial display, as he attempts to guard his favorite food source, which is to say: our feeder! Hunkered down, head thrust forward, and with wing tips outstretched to make him appear bigger and more threatening, he looks like quite the angry young man!
