Thursday: Invitation

Mostly grey and still all morning.
MrD had a dentist appointment for a new plate.
Did a couple of hours in the garden: planted out a few more Kale “Red Russian” and Broccoli “Hungry Gap”, started off 2 different types of lettuce, potted on a few of each of the kale / broccoli for my neighbours over the road. Collected together all the empty terracotta pots and stacked them near the wall by the heating oil tank - needed a couple for the lettuce seeds!
A surprise invitation arrived in this afternoon’s post, from the older granddaughter whose birthday is in a few months time - will try my best to get to you! :-)) xxxx
