Good running Landon

A full on day with Landon and his dad. Our destination was the spectacular Alga Norte Community Park in the City of Carlsbad near Bressi Ranch.

This marvellous community facility boasts all manner of sports grounds, a skateboard park and a quite magnificent outdoor swimming complex with several pools many set out for lane swimming. No graffiti in sight, not even on the skate park.

We started at the skateboard park where Landon had a whale of a time.competently tackling many of the obstacles. From there it was over to the pool for endless games in the water, diving for objects on the pool floor and avoiding sea monster grandad!

It was hungry work so we had a huge sandwich at Board and Brew at Bressi Ranch and the obligatory coffee afterwards.

Back home we played cars on the floor, grandad falling asleep on whole st on duty. There was still time for playing many games in the yard including races of many different types.

The day was rounded off with a sushi takeaway where we all enjoyed a fine range of tastes.

The extras are at the skate park and in the pool.

Landon goes back to daycare tomorrow, we’ll see him at soccer on Saturday and at Mothers Day on Sunday. Time is running out.
