Quince blossom

Lots of blossom on the quince tree (Cydonia Oblonga). The fruits will be large bigger than a large pear, they have a fabulous fragrance and are not ripe until the beginning of autumn.
Baked in the oven with butter cinnamon and sugar for at least 40 minutes they are delicious.
The fruit has a good amount of pectin and make a good thick jell ‘Dulce de membrillo to eat with manchego
