Red Campion

I liked this image of red campion I took today.  Did you know red campion (silene dioica) is known in folklore to hide fairies and guard bees' honey stores.  Thought not!

This particular flower was really, really good at hiding the honey stores as I didn’t see any.  On the other hand I saw lots of fairies and I’m away with them for the weekend ; -)
