Hoist

These contraptions behind my building are still used to let down bags of rubbish and recycling. Once tradesmen used the speaking tubes to communicate with the flat owners. Unfortunately we can’t use our hoist owing to the layout of our kitchen. 
Dear daughter is visiting us today, before heading off for a long planned holiday in Wales.
