Sophie and Edward - the Wessexes- are due on Monday as the Royals allocated to Guernsey’s Liberation Day, May 9. Just in case the Duchess turns up in towering stilettos, the red carpet runway has been underlaid with 1/4 inch ply on top of the hazardous decking!
