Happy in his Work

A great blipmeet at Whichford Pottery today - a family business started in 1976 and going strongly.  An open day so with the bright sunshine, plenty of visitors, but it was well organised with the staff clearly happy to spend some of their time explaining what they were doing.

The potters (throwers?) tend to work next to a window which provides some great sidelight for photography.  I've chosen this chap for my blip as he looked so happy in his work. I'm 90% sure this is Jim Keeling who started the business,  which is mostly now run by his children, so perhaps that is why he looks so content?

In the extra, one of the younger staff,  with the starting piece of clay which eventually becomes the pot he has on the wheel.

Thanks to Technophobe and LooseCanon for organising us.
Hildasrose, Fitzbilly and Chrispybox  will also have blips.
