The first electric lamp...

...in Nordic countries was installed in the weaving shed at Finlayson's factory in Tampere in 1882. Currently there's a cinema and a restaurant in the building and we visited both in the evening. I suppose this is not the original lamp, but it looks quite fancy.

The van's repair was ready in the afternoon. Unfortunately none of the injectors passed tests, so it was better to change them all. Otherwise more towing would have been a likely scenario. It was the most expensive single car/van repair I have ever paid for.

Otherwise a nice day, up to +18.5°C on the way back from the repair shop. Finished chopping firewood and drove machines out or to more accessible places for the upcoming season.

Saw the first swallow and the first flycatcher this spring.
