Stage set for Preventable. Today was my first volunteer shift at this book festival. I was assigned to the main theatre and managed to see this event, with Prof. Devi Sridhar being interviewed by Jason Leitch about her book. Since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic they have been 2 of my go-to accounts for clear, straightforward information. It was apparent during the Q&A session that there were a good number of NHS staff in the audience.
